Mark joined Battery in 2000 and focuses primarily on wireless, consumer Internet, business process outsourcing (BPO), and software investments. He is actively seeking new investment opportunities. Mark's investments at Battery include DecisionPoint Software, mFormation, Neoteris (acquired by NetScreen) and The Loan Page. Previously, Mark was a Managing Director at Robertson Stephens, heading the firm's Internet and Software Banking practices. Examples of Mark's transactions included IPOs, follow-ons, and M&As for:

Before joining Robertson Stephens, Mark worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions group at Lazard Freres & Co. and at the advisory boutique of McFarland Dewey & Co. Mark received a BS from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is on the board of the Silicon Valley Chapter of the Indian Venture Capital Association (IVCA), to leverage entrepreneurial activities between India and America. In addition, Mark is an active Charter Member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE).
